Consulting for Startups & Small Teams
I fix the stuff nobody fixes.
I own what no one will own.
Throughout my career (and regardless of what the job title said), I've always been the person who jumps into the messy, ambiguous, slightly-on-fire situation and figures it out. Whether that's crisis messaging, a cross-functional project that nobody wants to drive, or just being the person who finally takes action on the thing the team has been marinating on for weeks.
I care about why we're doing something, and I'm at my best figuring out how we get there.
My services are geared towards startups, and touch product, operations, customer experience, and anything (and everything) in-between. If you don’t have a team or name for it, it’s probably something I do.
How I Can Help
There are a number of ways I can step in and help to meet your needs. Startups need flexibility and fluidity, afterall. Have something else you need? I’d love to work with you to help solve whatever is going on. If it’s no one’s job, it’s probably my job.

Your team is growing fast. This is good. But important context is getting lost. This is not good.
You need someone to step in, figure out what's going on, and create clarity through messaging, documentation, project tracking — and yes, sometimes just asking the right questions.
-
You need a Chief of Staff, but not full time. You’re building something and the in-between work is piling up. I can help manage priorities, own internal comms, handling the operational stuff that keeps falling through the cracks — whether it be managing App Store listings, helping with Product Marketing Plans, creating FAQs, or anything else you don’t have an owner for.

There’s a cross-functional project that doesn't sit neatly in anyone's job description. You say “we can all own it”, but that often means no one is owning it.
It's been stalling for weeks. I take those projects, break them down, and drive them to done. I help organize who owns what. I figure out what doesn’t have an owner, and either take that work on myself or determine what skillset is needed.

Something blew up and you need help. A crisis, a bad launch, an internal issue that needs careful messaging. I've navigated these before — including a pretty public PR crisis at a previous company — and I'm quick on my feet when there's no time to think.
How I work
My favorite way to work is on retainer, in a way that is flexible to your needs. Monthly commitments and flexible scope go hand in hand. I embed with your team enough to understand context, but I'm not here to sit in status meetings (unless that’s where you need me). I can also work on a per-project basis if your scope is more defined.
I mostly do my work remotely, but am happy to meet in person in NYC from time to time. I care about doing good work with kind people.
I Listen
I listen to what you’re struggling with and the pain it’s causing. I bring my decade-plus experience in product and experiences to read between the lines. Users are historically bad at solving their own problems. I believe founders are no different.
I Collaborate
You and your team are part of the process. Communication is open and decisions are shared. I don’t work in a vacuum, and instead work with you to figure out what level of communication and collaboration is right for your team.
I Plan
Every project is different. I identify solutions and work with you to create a loose plan. I stay flexible and responsive. I know things will come up, and I’ll be ready to pivot.
I Deliver
I get you and the team what you need. I tweak as needed. Often, when one problem is solved, another rears its head — I’ll be ready to take that on.
